Summer in Revelstoke: Family Itinerary

Day 1

If you have time, check out the national parks in the area. Mount Revelstoke National Park offers great beginner, family-friendly walks at The Meadows in the Sky Parkway. This is the only mountain in the national park system that you can summit just a short walk from your car, providing incredible views as you go. You can return to Sandman to get a great night’s sleep in the famously comfy beds before a busy few days!

Day 2
Check out the endless activities at Revelstoke Mountain Resort. Get tickets for the number one summer attraction – the Pipe Mountain Coaster. This family-friendly ride allows you to control your speed, making it ideal for people of all ages. Make the most of your family visit with the Play All Day Pass, which includes access to the Pipe Mountain Coaster, along with numerous other activities such as the Aerial Adventure Park, Disc Golf Course, axe throwing, as well as hiking and sightseeing trails at the top of the Revelation Gondola.
After a day of non-stop activity, you can get great food right on the mountain at Rockford Bar|Grill or Mackenzie Common Tavern.

Day 3
Get your daily coffee fix from La Baguette, ideally located in the heart of the town. Then it’s time to head out on the water of Revy’s lakes, rivers and streams. Wild Blue Yonder offer 3 white water rafting trips, ranging from rapids to pirate adventures! If paddle-boarding or canoeing is what you’re into, check out Great Canadian Tours to discover hidden beaches and pristine waterfalls and creeks.

Day 4
Final day of adventure! What better way to finish off a fantastic trip than with a day of mountain-biking on world class terrain. The Revelstoke mountain biking scene is legendary for the ease of alpine backcountry access, fun and flowy cross-country mountain biking trails, and downhill mountain biking. With trails for beginner, intermediate and advanced riders, Revelstoke has it all. Revelstoke Mountain Resort offer a selection of trails that will not disappoint. The trail-building team has put a lot of heart into curating the best aspects of the land and turning them into a progressive mix of epic downhill descents and picturesque enduro climbs and loops.
